1} I have a complicated siblinghood: I have one full sister who is 14, one half sister who is 6, one half brother who is 34 and not related to my half sister, and he has a half brother who is not related to me or my sisters who is 19. I have never met him.

2} I am an aspiring author and illustrator because I love books and art more than anything else in the world.

3} My penname 'Squibakou' is a combination of 'squib', the term used by the magical community in Harry Potter to describe someone born into a magical family without powers, and '-akou', a typically Japanese-sounding name ending reflecting my obsession with all things Japanese.

4} When I was younger I used to make 'no-recipe-cakes'. Just let your imagination go with that one. BTW, don't put plastic cups in the microwave.

5} I have always wanted a water dragon lizard.

6} I hate cheese. I would rather eat monkey brains.

7} A couple of years ago my dad, my sister and I were trapped in our flat as some NEDs had set the downstairs on fire, we were all fine, but by the time the firefighters arrived our flat was full of smoke and we had half a living room of air left. Scary bananas...

8} I have had 2 mice, 3 hamsters, 3 goldfish, 6-7 budgies and 8 cats so far. Only the cats survived the ordeal, understandably. Now I only have 3 cats. I have been informed by my little sister that when I go to uni in a year I will be replaced by a kitten, so yeah...
